The National Alliance of Gang Investigators Associations (NAGIA), formed in 1998, is a cooperative organization representing 20 state and regional gang investigators associations with over 20,000 members. It provides for leadership in developing and recommending strategies to prevent and control gang crime, administer professional training as well as assist criminal justice professionals and the public in identifying and tracking gangs, gang members and the gang crime around the world. |

North Oakland "domestic terrorists" found guilty of three murders: |
(4/29/2013) OAKLAND -- Four North Oakland gang members labeled "domestic terrorists" by a prosecutor were found guilty Monday of killing three people in a string of events sparked by a revenge murder of a gang rival's brother. Deputy district attorney Steve Dal Porto asked the jury to find all four men responsible for the three killings because, he argued, they worked together in an attempt to seek vengeance against a rival gang that killed one of their members. |
